Important Workshop Information

Call Curriculum Library to sign up for programming at (518) 458-5311.

Students will receive a workshop certificate that they have attended and participated in the Workshop Series.

Workshops need a minimum of four people to run.

    Workshop Series Fall 2011

    Have you ever wondered just how to spice up your science lesson?  This workshop is the one to attend!  We will be focusing on a sink or float concept complete with a fun experiment.  Please join me during this hands-on workshop to discover science experiments that are sure to entertain your students.



                                             TARGETED AUDIENCE

    •    Future educators enrolled in Math and Science Methods
    • Future educators enrolled in Curriculum & Instruction
    • Student teachers
    • Professors
    • Current Elementary School teachers
    • Anyone in the Education Program

    This workshop is designed to help future educators become aware that the Curriculum Library has useful science kits.  These science kits are available for checkout and includes a teacher's manual, materials for different experiments, activity sheets and student resources. 

    When planning your science lessons, please keep in mind that hands on science experiments are more effective in the classroom to encourage participation and help children gain scientific knowledge.
