The Sidney Albert Interfaith Lectureship series was funded by a grant from the late Sidney and Beatrice Albert to support interfaith dialog and debate at The College of St. Rose. The Philosophy and Religious Studies Department co-sponsors the lectureship series, and supports the goals of the board.
Thanks to the generosity of former College of Saint Rose trustee, George Pfaff, and his wife , Jane, The College of St. Rose was able to hire Dr. Michael Brannigan as the Pfaff Endowed Chair in Ethics. Dr. Brannigan's role as chair is to promote the public face of the College and its committment to ethics in the community.
Made possible by the George and Jane Pfaff Endowed Chair in Ethics, the Minor in Ethics offers students a unique way to make a personal statement to employers about their character, interests, and capacities. This credential testifies to an individual’s commitment to informed, ethically principled, and cogent decision-making skills.
