There is a lot the library staff can do for you, and there are many opportunities to customize your experience as you use the library online. You can even join us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date and share your opinions. Here's an overview:
Helping You Get Resources
Circulation & Reserves Desk - We can help you check out books, deal with your library account, provide you with a laptop, get you your course reserves -- and generally BE HELPFUL.
Interlibrary Loan - If you need something that we don't have, just make an interlibrary loan request and our staff will search for what you need and deliver to you.
Scan an Article - If we have a journal in print, but it's not available online, just send us an interlibrary loan request (see above) and we will scan it and send it to you via email. Need to figure out what journal are available, check our Journal Finder page.
Borrow Books Locally - If you want to go to another library in the area and borrow directly, stop at our front desk and we will set you up with a Direct Access Program card.
Learning About the Library and Other Resources
Have a Question - We are here to answer your questions and give you some help. Check our Help page for all the ways you can get in touch with us.
Need Personal Assistance - Make an appointment to meet with a librarian one-on-one. We can help point you in the right direction and help you strategize as you begin your research. Plus you will have a contact and your own personal librarian for life!
Instructional Videos - Over the next few months we will increasingly add instructional videos to this site. Check our Instruction page for more information and links.
