T extbooks, Workbooks, and DVD's: Request Course Reserve textbooks, workbooks, and DVD's using the Library Takeout . Form These items can be borrowed for 24 hours.
Non-Textbooks: If your instructor has placed non-textbook material on Course Reserve they will provide access to this material via CANVAS.

DVD's are the only exception to this rule - they will be disinfected upon return and will be available immediately.
How does pickup work?
Please Note: We now offer expanded pickup hours and options: Depending on the day/time you arrive, you will either call the Circulation Desk for doorside pickup or you will use your CSR ID card to swipe yourself into the building and ask for your order at the Circulation or Reference desk.
For doorside pickup during call hours:
1. You must wear a face mask when you pick up your Library Takeout.
2. Call 518-650-3852 when you arrive at the entrance to the Neil Hellman Library.
3. Let library staff know you’re here to pick up your Library Takeout and provide them with your full name. Be prepared to show your CSR ID card.
4. Staff will meet you at the front door and ask that you show your CSR ID card through the window. Once staff has verified your identity, step away from the door and move to the other side of the Library Takeout table. The staff member will then open the door, place your item(s) on the table, and you are then welcome to pick up your Library Takeout at this point.
