Introduction
Eleventh Annual
Undergraduate Research Symposium
Tuesday, April 21st, 5:00-6:30 pm
We are going virtual!
Research posters will be available online for all to view and enjoy.
The symposium itself will take place via Zoom, on April 21st, 2020, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Participants will have an opportunity to present their poster to a live audience and audience members can ask questions via email. A link to the virtual symposium website will be shared soon.
The Symposium is an opportunity for undergraduates to present their research projects to faculty, peers, and other members of the Saint Rose community. This experience can be especially valuable to students who will be participating in other regional or national conferences or for those interested in pursuing a graduate degree. All participants must submit a project abstract, prepare a formal research poster, and attend the virtual Symposium. P
articipants are also encouraged to compete for the
Library Undergraduate Research Award
. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best research projects in two broad categories: Math & Science and Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences.
Are you wondering what sorts of projects students have submitted to the Symposium in the past? Check out the
abstracts from the 7th Symposium
, which took place April 19, 2016. Please send an email to researchsymposium(at)strose.edu if you have any questions about the Symposium.
The call for participation in the 11th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium is CLOSED.
Check out the virtual Symposium tab for information about this year's participants.
